The Tools section of the Store and Inventory contains items that give you hints in hidden object scenes and mini-games.
They are all activated in locations or mini-games.The exception is the Lunar Lens, which is activated in the Location Entrance Window.
You can get tools as a reward for assembling collections and completing quests and events. You can also find them in monster treasuries and caches on the map.
